It is located on the border of Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, Suriname, Guyana as well as Venezuela and France. Also, the Amazon River, which flows through this vast green forest, is also known as the largest river in the world. As mentioned before, this article is presented to you some facts that you have not heard about this forest that has not yet been properly opened to the world.

Therefore, this hot water river located in the Amazon forest is considered to be the only hot water river in the world.

According to reports, the temperature in each place of this river is different from each other. It ranges from 41 to 100 degrees Celsius. Although it is not a very deep river as a whole, it is said that the depth of some places here is about 6 meters. This river is located in the area called 'Huanuco' in the Amazon forest. Have you seen the movie 'lord of the Ring'? So you may remember that the movie featured walking trees. Did you know that such walking trees exist in the Amazon forest? According to the movie 'lord of the Ring', those trees are called 'entus'. But in the whole world, this tree species is known as 'Cashapona' or 'walking trees'.

It is impossible to see these trees growing as fast as shown in the film in the real world. Because what actually happens here is that these trees find sunlight and expand to some extent. It is said that these are a type of tree that grows quite large. However, due to this expansion process in these trees, the location of these trees is different compared to other trees.

3. Pink dolphins

There are only a few rivers in the world where dolphins live. Meanwhile, dolphins are found in abundance only in the world's largest river, the Amazon River. Several types of dolphins are found in this Amazon River. The main and rarest dolphin among them is the pink dolphin. Also known as boto and bufeo, this type of dolphin fish is usually about 8 feet long. On average, one pink dolphin weighs about 185 kg.

At present, they have become the main prey of hunters and tribes and are facing the threat of rapid extinction. According to migration data, there are only about 2000 of these pink fish left. According to reports, European researchers are trying to raise this species of fish in laboratories.

4. Giant lilies

This lily plant is also known as 'Victoria' and 'Victoria amazonica' and we can see this lily plant in various places of the Amazon River.

The leaves of these plants are large in size and strong. It is said that these leaves, which are as big as 3 meters, are strong enough to support a child or a person of normal weight when they are on the water. According to research, it has been found that some lily leaves are capable of supporting 65 pounds. And today, using new technology, these lily plants have been able to be cultivated in several other places in the world.

5. Bullet Ant

Next, we are going to talk about one of the most dangerous creatures in the Amazon forest. It is known as the bullet ant. In the year 1792, zoologists revealed this species of ant to the world for the first time. These ants, which are between 18 and 30 millimeters in length, are best known to the tribal people living in the Amazon forest. Because they are almost always attacked by these animals.

This animal got the name 'bullet ant' because when they bite, it feels like a bullet hit the body. It is believed that the pain lasts for approximately 24 hours. From that, you can understand their danger. Not without opportunities for tribals to exploit these ants. They use this animal as a test of strength in choosing their tribal leader.
